MS SQL Developer/Admin

Role:SQL Developer/Admin

Description / Requirements:

• Responsible developing, maintaining and operating a database containing maintenance data on all FDCA equipment.

• Develop, maintain, and operate an interface between the FDCA Operations Help Desk, the Asset Management System, and maintenance systems that ensures that Operations and Field Support are working to common objectives and standards and provide daily and weekly view of maintenance performance.

• Develop, maintain, and operate an interface between Harris and the Unisys UAPM Asset Management System that support the bulk collection and transfer of new asset data (ASNs), asset movement and status change information to facilitate batch vs. one-at-a-time entry into the UAPM system

• Understanding of asset management processes, Warehouse Management systems and process, maintenance data collection, shop floor management systems and trend metrics development.

Required Skills :

Candidate Must Have : Experienced with porting SQL backend to web interface for data entry

Experienced with supporting Microsoft ADP Client with SQL Server back end

Bachelors degree and 4 years experience in Microsoft SQL Client Server environment

Must fully understand and consistently apply change management concepts to control the software baseline

Expertise in Database Development Tools for Operations groups on large IT deployment projects

Additional Information :

Ability to gather database requirements from customer

Strong written and verbal communication skills
