MIS Specialist

Principal Objective

Provide Help Desk and End-User support for the employees of BankRI. Assist in LAN/WAN management tasks. Provide input and assistance on various technical projects.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Provide End-User support by:

a. Providing Help Desk and End User desktop support

b. Maintaining existing End-Users (Changing and deleting)

2. Assist in LAN/WAN management by:

a. Participating in WAN/LAN upgrades.

b. Maintaining appropriate technical certifications.

c. Maintaining and repairing PCs and associated equipment, i.e. printers, keyboards, monitors

3. Provide input and assistance on various network projects by:

a. Participating in new installations, i.e. new branches

b. Installing new software packages

4. May serve as backup to other departmental positions, as needed.

5. Performs additional duties, as requested.

 

 

Job Specifications (Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required)2 years computer hardware experience.CNA certified or equivalent experience (2 years network experience)Ability to trouble shoot and perform onsite repairs Able to multitask daily work assignments Organizational skillsOral communication skills to relay solutions to End-Users
