MAC Technical Support Description: Video Editing (all candidates declined due to no Video Editing experience) Job Description: 1. Support end-users and resellers by providing product information and part number association. 2. Support Sales departments with product information and part number association. 3. Resolve technical problems for all users over the phone with accurate trouble-shooting techniques. 4. Close all calls offered from the tech-support phone queue each day. 7. Keep management appropriately informed of issues or problems within the department and issues/problems regarding SimpleTech products and services. 8. Test new products for compatibility confirmation and training purposes. 9. Answer emails from the Tech Support email system each day. Requirements: * Strong Customer Service skills, including the ability to communicate and to listen effectively. * Technical Trouble-shooting (computer) skills * Must have strong MAC OS support knowledge * RAID, SCSI and Fibre Channel experience needed * Working knowledge of MAC video editing software desired * Good writing and communication skills * Advanced knowledge of computers and all current operating systems * College degree, AA or equivalent experience. * Customer service experience * Strong networking background * Software support experience helpful but not required * Video Editing is the key.Location: Santa Ana, CA Type: CONTRACT Duration: Temp to Hire Pay Rate: $20.00 - $21.00 Hourly DOE Contact: Volt Technical ResourcesVolt Workforce Solutions2411 N.
