Job Category:Systems Primary Location:USA-SC: SOUTH CAROLINA-BLYTHEWOODSchedule:Full-time Job Type:Standard Employee Status:RegularJob Posting: 2008-07-31Description: Description: This position is directly responsible for escalated Level 2 Support in an Enterprise Environment and reports directly to the CSC Internal Lotus Notes Customer Support Team Manager. The applicant is responsible for monitoring their personal queue and resolving trouble tickets in a timely manner. The position requires that all procedures are being followed as prescribed in the Policies & Procedures database. Additionally, the position requires that tickets or issues are escalated to management and Level 3 support accordingly. Essential Job Functions: General Knowledge of Lotus Notes 6.x, 7.x, and 8.x Mail, Administrator and Designer Clients Advanced Lotus Notes Client Workstation troubleshooting skills Strong communication skills for providing documentation to support personnel, customers, and managers Microsoft Windows Operating Systems TCPIP Protocol Experience with Admin Tools Document procedures and policies related to 2nd level problem resolution Develop trouble-shooting scripts for Level 2 support Basic Knowledge of BlackBerry and/or mobile technology Critical Skills: Experience supporting Lotus Notes users remotely in an enterprise production environment Strong understanding of Database Replication Strong understanding of ACL's, Archiving, Calendaring and other Client Configuration Settings Strong problem solving skills and attention to documentation Excellent organizational and time-management skills Support Center & Escalation proceduresOther Skills: Good analytical and problem solving skills Ability to work without supervision; be a self-starter and self-sufficient in providing assistance to user community Good leadership skills to guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel Ability to work in a remote team environment Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field preferred Two or more years of experience with computer systems or networking Experience working with computer hardware for installation and upgrades Experience working with software installation/upgrading procedures Experience working with file and system maintenance procedures Other Qualifications Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work Analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems Communication skills for to communicate with support personnel, customers, and managers Ability to work independently and as part of a team scjobs Remote Work Location Authorized:No Relocation Assistance:Not AvailableClearance Level:None Create Success
