Litigation Support Manager

A prominent NJ based law firm is seeking a Litigation Support Manager to lead their developing litigation technology department.

You will be tasked with mentoring the team and helping to further develop litigation support policies, processes and procedures. You will work with attorneys, clients, and paralegals to support their litigation technology needs. Some needs include: design and implementation of litigation databases, coordinating coding/imaging projects, and support in the areas of electronic discovery.

This position will act as liaison between attorneys, paralegals and the IT department. This position will be responsible for technology training, so you must keep current in relevant litigation technology support areas. This position will also manage vendor relationships.

This position requires a strong knowledge of the litigation process and a strong understanding of the use of technology in law.

Experience with trial preparation/presentation, electronic discovery and document production is necessary.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience desired, plus a minimum 5 years experience in litigation support. Preferably with a law firm.Must possess strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate on all levels. Strong knowledge of MS Office and other litigation support applications (Concordance, Summation, Ipro, etc.).
