Linux Windows 3rd Tier Operations Support
Application Support Specialist (Linux, Windows, SQL Server)
Thompson Technologies has an immediate opportunity for our client in Alpharetta, GA for a Support Specialist ( 3rd Tier) with experience supporting proprietary systems and applications.
This position is ideal for a support professional that is comfortable working in a 24x7 on all rotation providing phone and desktop support..
** Must be open to 15% travel.
Duties:System Performance Analysis and troubleshooting of production problems Data Center Management and SupportTechnical Documentation Unix/Linux Shell Scripting and some SQL query authoringProvides onsite support during system implementations and system overhaulsPerforms system integration and performance stress testing 24/7 On-call support Conducts site audits of operations, and as required institutes changes to assure compliance to company standards System Administration and Support: UNIX/AIX Linux EnterpriseWindows Server - Active Directory a Strong Plus!Database Administration in MS SQL
This is a full time, direct hire position.
