Level I Help Desk - Bilingual English/German - LOCAL

They have an immediate opening for a Level I Help Desk professional who is bilingual English/German. This is an open-ended contract position with potential for permanent hire. Compensation is $15-17/hr, based on experience. Candidates must be local to Charlotte, NC (north Charlotte/University area). A Level I Help Desk professional is the first person that is contacted by a customer when they have an IT question or need. This communication will set the tone for the entire experience the customer has with the Help Desk. The Help Desk professionals may be the only personal contact a customer has with the organization. It is imperative that a level one professional clearly understands his or her job responsibilities and is provided with the tools with which to exceed the customer’s expectations at every contact and represent the organization appropriately. Responsibilities: Treat the customer with respect Respond to incoming questions in a timely manner, track 100% of all customer contacts, research questions and issues and resolve each interaction with customer satisfaction. Perform his or her responsibilities according and meets the specified Service Level Agreement Dispatch calls to field technicians when appropriate Escalate/assign requests to the next level support personnel when appropriate via proper escalation procedures Document each incoming request into the Incident Management program Document each contact with details and enough information as not to cause extra efforts by other support personnel Regularly attend technical and communication training sessions Stay up to date with company policies and procedures Become well versed with common problem inquiries and be able to provide immediate solutions. Work on special projects on an as needed basis Follow up and review requests received on a weekly basis to ensure data accuracy and integrity Requirements: Local/commutable to Charlotte, NC (north Charlotte/University area) At least 1 year recent experience working on a help desk, answering PC hardware and software support questions. Bilingual with strong written and verbal English and German language skills Strong sense of customer service Ability to effectively prioritize Possess great organizational skills A+ Certification preferred but not required Qualified and interested candidates should forward a Word (.doc) version of their resume to kristen.johnston@systemoneservices.com If you are not bilingual in German and English and you do not have recent experience working on a help desk, please do not apply for this position.
