Level 3 Technical Support (2nd shift) - Long Term Contract opportunity!
Analysts International is seeking qualified Level 3 Technical Support candidates for an excellent Long Term Contracting opportunity with a major client in the Central Kentucky area. The duration on this position is scheduled to be at minimum 1 year with great potential for extension.
Level 3 Technical Support - Support technician responsible for installation and troubleshooting primarily desktop, laptop and printers at client site. This is a 2nd shift position.
Duties include:Responsible for local coordination, installation and on-going support for Windows 2000 and Windows XP desktops, laptops, printers And plotters.Responsible for maintaining a standard image provided by the Corporate office on user laptops, desktops and peripheral devices which may include PDA's, Blackberry and other handheld devices. Responsible for receiving hardware, hardware disposal and software license tracking.Requires frequent interface with the user community. Strong troubleshooting capabilities are required.Candidate will be required to setup and configure desktop and laptop equipment (Dell and Toshiba) with Windows 2000 and XP.Hours are anticipated to be 2 pm to 11 pm Mon through Thurs and 4 pm to close (12 am to 2:30 am) on Friday
Experience Requirements:Certifications to fix Toshiba laptop and Dell desktop equipment is strongly preferred.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel,Word) and Windows 2000 Professional.Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP and Microsoft SMS.Basic understanding of Windows 2000 Active Directory and Microsoft's Application Compatibility Toolkit.Experience using the remote control features of Microsoft's SMS a plus.Familiarity with Lotus Notes a plus.MCSE and other certifications a plus.Candidate must have good communication skills.
