Lead Web User Interface Design Engineer

We are looking for a talented Web UI Design Engineer with a very strong background in all web development applications, and at least 3 years specific experience in Web User Interface Design.  Leadership capability, self-motivated, high-energy individual who wants to step into the lead role.   Main Accountabilities • To develop and test software modules to meet the product requirements specified by Product Management under the direction of the Software Development Manager • When appropriate, technically lead development project activities and take responsibility for all technical aspects within the project lifecycle. To provide help and/or supervision to the other team members • To work within, and contribute to, systems and procedures to ensure the integrity and robustness of all software deliverables and to identify in advance possible problem areas in a proposed project and provide suitable feedback to the Software Development Manager • To contribute to the writing of lifecycle documentation, user level documentation, technical application notes and training material as required by company or development processes • To keep abreast of technical and market trends in relation to the company’s product range and to propose product improvementsRequired Experience and Skills • Bachelor’s degree or higher, in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or other relevant disciplines • 5+ years of industry experience in developing user interfaces for commercial products or applications, with at least 3 years in web UI development • Expert knowledge in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP • Proficiency in other web technologies such as web services, XML, SOAP, and AJAX • Proficiency in Java and/or C++ programming language • Strong background in object-oriented methodology and design patterns • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary geographically-dispersed team environment • Team player who is able to adapt to a dynamic and exciting environment  Desirable Experience and Skills • Strong plus for server backend development experience, preferably on the Linux platform • Experience in building scalable web UI applications in Java technologies • Background in data communication, storage networking, or enterprise security • Familiarity with the Agile process and software refactoring   Benefits Competitive salary & Bonus - contact me for detailsTo apply to this position, simply follow the Apply Now link below.  Please include current resume - strict confidentiality is maintained at all times.
