The Lead Systems Analyst - Data Warehouse develops and implements systems to meet the information reporting needs of the business, including Data Warehouses, Decision Support systems and other Reporting systems.
They will contribute to the development of the BI strategy and may be required to supervise and mentor other BI team members.
Other key activities include project management of initiatives, all phases of the systems development life cycle; resolution of issues with existing systems; and providing technical guidance to other team members.

Required Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in an Information Technology or Business Systems related discipline.

5- 6 years experience in information systems applications, data warehouses and decision support systems, preferably in regulated medical device industry.

3-4 year experience in leading the development of Business Information Reporting strategies.

8 years experience in managing large projects, following project management methodologies and supervising project team staff, including consultants.

Experience in working with SAP,BPCS or any large ERP Implementations. Should have in-depth knowledge of complex BI applications and should have good understanding of the following tools, SAP BW/BI, Business Objects, SQL Server DTS/SSIS, Informatica, and Oracle PL/SQL.

Experience in systems analysis, ie. Understanding user requirements and implementing systems to meet the requirements.

Two years experience in supervising and/or managing a staff is preferred; the staff includes both on-site and global virtual team members.

2 year experience in supervising staff is a must. Exposure to supervising virtual staff spread across the globe is preferred.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to adapt to challenges and to mentor team members.

Should be a leader and willing to take challenges and be a mentor for other members of the team.

Strong communications skills both orally and written. Ability to write reports, procedure manuals and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Ability to handle several assignments simultaneously. Sound understanding of the business activities and objectives. Good numerical skills.
