Lead Information Security Specialist
Must be able to obtain security clearance.
Duties and Responsibilities:Â
§ Manages extensive evaluations of Department of the Navy ashore major information security networks, prepares evaluation reports, presents recommendations.Â
§ Conducts trade off analyses of products for clients to determine optimal informant security solutions.Â
§ Provides consulting services on a wide variety of information assurance topics.Â
§ Prepares remedial options and mitigation of information security shortfalls.Â
§ Works independently in expert role at customer site or provides team leadership to a group of information security professionals.  Â
§ Assists in preparing Certification and Accreditation (C&A) submissions to the Department of Defense.Â
§ Extensive interaction with Department of the Navy Information Assurance professionals on a wide variety of information assurance topics.Â
§ Supports information assurance data calls as collection point of contact.Â

Job Requirements: Â Â
§ Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related discipline (or equivalent such as certifications in systems administration or network security) and seven to nine years of related experience.  Â
§ Working knowledge of DITSCAP/DIACAP in a Department of Defense or Navy environment required.Â
Preferred Requirements:Â CISSP credential
