Due to the growth in our Lawson Practice we are currently looking for Functional and Technical Consultants who understand the features and functionality of Lawson Applications (Financials or HR/Payroll or Procurement).  We have openings for the following in our Norwood, MA, Orlando, FL, and other areas within the US. If the consultant is willing to travel 100% then we can be even more flexible with their locations.
The Functional Consultant serves as the subject matter expert on Lawson Functional implementation and upgrade projects. The role of the Functional Consultant is to lead and/or support clients through all phases of the project lifecycle: analysis, design, development, testing, training and post-implementation / post-upgrade support. Individuals in this role report directly to the Project Manager on the client engagement and have experience with configuring, using and supporting Lawson Applications (version 8.x or higher). Primary Responsibilities Include:
Gather client requirements for business rules, configuration, conversions, interfaces, reporting and security
Perform fit/gap analysis of client requirements to delivered Lawson functionality
Create testing strategy for user acceptance testing
Develop reports and adhoc queries
Provide post-implementation support
Create deliverables for key project milestones and obtain the appropriate client signoff
Prepare weekly status reports for the Project Manager
The Technical Consultant understands the features and functionality of Lawson Infrastructure.  The Technical Consultant serves as the subject matter expert on Lawson Technical implementation and upgrade projects. The role of the Technical Consultant is to lead and/or support clients through all phases of the project lifecycle: analysis, design, development, testing, training and post-implementation / post-upgrade support. Individuals in this role report directly to the Project Manager on the client engagement and have experience with configuring, using and supporting Lawson Technical version 8.x or higher. Ideally candidate would have a mix of Lawson Development and Lawson System Administration.Primary Responsibilities Include:Work with Functional team members to gather client requirements for business rules, configuration, conversions, interfaces, reporting and security

Required Skills
2 - 5 yrs experience in Lawson Implementation and Upgrade experience Implementation and/or hands on experience with Lawson Applications version 8.x or higher Proficiency in the development of reports and adhoc Lawson queries Excels in a team environment Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills that fall outside one's own immediate skill set The ability to multitask & prioritize work in order to complete project tasks and deliverables on time.
