10451534KRONOS Technical Analyst6 Month Contract to HireLocation: PortlandOverview:The Client is looking for an experienced IT professional on the Kronos Application Support team. The person accepting this position will serve as the technical development resource for the Kronos Workforce Central (v5.2) application.Kronos Workforce Central v5.2 has been rolled out across the organization in a phased approach.A large portion of the organization is currently using the new system, and several business units remain to be implemented.A successful candidate will have experience creating and modifying real-time and batch interfaces between WFC and outside applications such as PeopleSoft.Experience with configuration, system tuning, reporting, and maintenance pack and system upgrades is a must.Responsibilities:This position will be responsible for gathering requirements from other teams, analyzing the best approach to take with each interface, coding and testing new and modified interfaces and tuning them to insure system resources are utilized efficiently.In addition to the interface work, this position will be responsible for troubleshooting production system issues, writing custom reports, and acting as technical SME as necessary when configuration of additional business units or deployment of new functionality is required.Qualifications:Required Skills for this position:Experience using the Kronos Workforce Central suite of productsHands-on experience with Kronos Connect, including experience using and developing links and interfaces using the Connect productExperience using Kronos-supplied APIs to provide data to an external sourceA solid understanding of Relational DB concepts, including experience writing complex SQL queriesFamiliarity with the Kronos database structures and entity relationshipsExperience using SQL Developer tool, SQL Plus, and/or TOADExperience analyzing and optimizing SQLExperience programming with an Oracle DB (10g V2 preferred) and using Oracle database viewsJava and J2EE must be able to:read and understanddebug JavaScript errorswork with Java developers to build Kronos interfacesAble to read and understand HTMLExperience with Crystal reports (v10 or higher), including writing custom reports and deploying reports into a packaged application very desirableAdditional Skills Desired - Experience with:Networked Win2003 serversMS SchedulerOracle DB using:db linksStored proceduresdatabase triggersXML - Able to read and write simple programsWindows file systems - Understanding of file typesKronos Teletime v5.2PeopleSoftIBM MainframeWFC v6 a plus Apply Now Location: Portland, OR, 97209Status: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/ProjectJob Category: IT/Software DevelopmentCareer Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) About COMSYS COMSYS IT Partners, Inc.
