Junior Security Analyst

Junior Security Analyst CGI is seeking a Junior Security Analyst to join our team. The successful candidates will work as part of a 3 person team supporting the clients 18 local and remote office security applications and devices. The successful candidates will be required to be on call up 50% and will be required to work overtime after hours and on weekends.Responsibilities include:-Responding to trouble tickets and owning the problem to resolution.-Being part of a SWAT team when problems involve more than just the security group.-Planning changes to the environment including writing change plans. -Keep up to date inventories, and documentation related to the Security area.-Assist and work collaboratively with remote personnel to complete tasks. -Responsible for support and enhancements to the environment. ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:The successful candidate should posses 2 - 3 years of experience with following:-Nokia/Checkpoint configuration experience. -F5 BigIP configuration experience.-RSA Secure ID experience.-Cisco ASA/PIX Firewall configuration experience.-Entrust PKI Encryption experience.-Symantec Anti Virus design and support.-IP routing experience-Vulnerability assessment experience.-IP subnetting experience.-Absolutely must have a customer service oriented mindset.-Must be willing to understand customer needs objectively.-Excellent communication and customer service skills.-Assist and mentor junior network staff.NONESSENTIAL SKILLS DESIRED:-Cisco switch and router configuration experience is an asset.-Experience with SNMP.-Experience in an enterprise network operation.-IPSEC VPN configuration and troubleshooting skills.-LAN/WAN networking design and troubleshooting skills. -Knowledge and experience using network management tools similar to Solarwinds, CiscoWorks and Network General Sniffer.HARDWARE/SOFTWARE PACKAGES-Nokia IPxxx Firewalls-Checkpoint VPN1-RSA ACE-Entrust Entelligence 7.0-Bluecoat Proxy Appliances Founded in 1976, CGI Group Inc. is one of the largest independent information technology and business process services firms in the world.
