Junior Payroll Specialist Call (512) 338-4444Description: Seeking candidate with at least 1 year of strong payroll experience and a strong accounting/administrative background. The expectation for this position is to transition to a Payroll Specialist if performance and attendance are exceptional. Great opportunity to start a career path in the accounting field. In this position, you will be providing timely, accurate, and comprehensive payments for a domestic US payroll of 2000+ employees with minimal supervision. Must be able to analyze and explain all components of payroll. Integrate and prepares payroll data from incoming documents relating to compensation, human resources, benefits and taxation. Ensures all documentation is properly authorized and supported according to company policies, procedures, regulatory practices and legal requirements. Performs reconciliation and detailed audits to ensure accurate processing. Solved day-to-day operational problems of varied scope and complexity and assists other Payroll Specialists when needed. Ability to research and handle extremely confidential information in a professional and discretionary manner. Possess payroll/accounting experience with automated payroll systems. Must be a team player, responsive and eager to assist wherever needed. Display patience and flexibility. BA/BS preferred and/or 2-3 yrs of related experience.
