Jr Systems Engineer

Sabre is currently recruiting for a Junior Systems Engineer to work in Crystal City, VA.

 

Job Description:

Candidate will assist in system design, integration and testing, documentation, system support, and logistics.  Specifically, the Jr. Systems Engineer will maintain a current and accurate risk management database and risk cube; review, track, catalogue, and control system engineering CDRLs and GFI; manage the system requirements database by maintaining files within the DOORS tool for government requirements and plan for the allocation of these requirements to lower level specifications; and provide configuration management and status tracking for engineering data and change requests.  In addition, the candidate will manage the Question and Item Response (QIR) database to include: import new QIRS, assign QIRs, track contractor specific priority QIRs, provide a status report, ensure completed QIRs are reviewed, and transmit QIR responses to the contractors.  Finally, the candidate will review, track, catalogue and control system engineering studies and reports; support major system engineering technical reviews by coordinating, managing and tracking entrance and exit criteria, request for actions, and information, supporting CDRLs and documentation, etc; update & track AAS Integrated Management Plan & Integrated Management Schedule; and review, track, and analyze Earned Value (BV) data for cost and scheduled risk assessment.

 

Job Requirements:


Job Requires: Undergraduate degree in Engineering with system engineering focus 1+ year of engineering experience The ability to use database software tools such as DOORS, Microsoft Office Access, Microsoft Project The ability to create, maintain, and update databases using the applicable software tools The ability to learn and implement Earned Value Management (EVM) data tracking and analysis

 

Candidate must have a current TOP SECRET clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation.
