Plays a supporting role in month-end closing and reporting activities and ensures that assigned duties are performed timely and accurately. Reconciles various balance sheet accounts to general ledger; researches discrepancies and determines appropriate course of action. Provides training and guidance to junior accountants. Supports preparation of balance sheet budget and forecasts. Assists with annual tax package preparation and SEC reporting requirements. Assists with responding to audit requests. Participates in special projects as assigned. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance Two or more years of accounting or finance experience Intermediate understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and accounting software, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
