Description of Position Duties

-       Object-oriented programming experience including class creation, object instantiation and inheritance (multi-layer detailed object-orientation).

-       Experience with JavaScript frameworks (YUI, AJAX, YUI, GWT, Prototype, Dojo) MUST have used it as a framework.

-       Senior experience at basic and core java skill sets involving frameworks with the ability to conceptualize and implement the ability to wire cross tier components.

-       Ability to develop from a design pattern perspective is a highly desired, such as MVC, Front Controller, DAO, exception handling and alternate flows.

-       Must have good understanding of underlying Java/J2EE web components such Servlets and JSP.

-       Strong understanding of CSS 2 and HTML 4 and how to integrate in a standards-based fashion with each other and JavaScript.

-       Proficiency with programming DHTML.

-       Experience with cross-platform cross-browser development.

-       Oracle SQL experience; good understanding of queries that are fired from application.

-       End to end knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), development stage, deployment, testing and production application support.

-       Experience with DOM and event programming model.

-       Experience with and knowledge of XML 1.0 and JSON.

-       Understanding of the full software development lifecycle.

-       Understanding of source repositories and the idioms associated with them (ClearCase is preferable but other repositories - such as CVS, Subversion/SVN, etc - are applicable).

-       Server-side development background Java, C and/or C++.

-       Mashup experience.

-       Familiarity with Design Patterns (MVC).

-       Create and maintain full lifecycle Proof of Concepts (POCs).

-       Translate end product into production ready and stable code.
