RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop web applications and portals, based on business requirements.Production support and trouble-shooting for existing J2EE applications.Work with other developers, architects, services engineers and managers in solving new and existing technical issues.Perform maintenance and development of existing web applications in a multi-tier environment and building web services using Java and J2EE technologies.Perform unit testingWorking with business analysts, functional users and interacting with other developers to translate business requirements into technical ideas and ensure that code functionality meets requirements
QUALIFICATIONS: Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
Required Experience
A minimum of five years of experience in JAVA programming.A minimum of three years experience with J2EE using Servlet, JSP, and EJB.Hands-on experience with J2EE Application severs such JBOSS serverStrong Object-Oriented Design, UML, and XML skillsExcellent knowledge of JDBC programmingStrong knowledge of relational database design and development including Oracle and SQL server; experience working in SQL and PL/SQL programmingStrong Unix background, preferably SolarisStrong interpersonal communications and an affinity to work in a team environment Must have the ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and have a flexible positive attitudeStrong analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills Desired/Preferred Skills
