The primary responsibilities for these position are :• engineer, configure, support, and tune J2EE application server solutions,• define, develop, maintain, and advise on the effective use of J2EE web application technology architecture,• software installation, configuration, integration, and performance tuning of web application servers,• monitor Java application servers and applications for errors and performance problems,• setup and configure JMS queues,• create SNMP traps for MIBs,• setup and configure JTA as needed,• support deployments and migration of configuration,• problem management activities, • consultation, • project team participation, and• new technology awareness, research, and system integration. Required Qualifications:• must have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or an analytical discipline and/or equivalent experience,• must have at least four years of recent experience as a Technical Lead or Lead Systems Engineer on Java Application Server technologies in a large enterprise environment,• must have experience with BEA WebLogic and/or IBM WebSphere ND that includes experience with:• clustered environments• scripting language within application server• the plug in to the web server• SSL to secure the administration• must have experience with various versions of Unix and Windows operating systems,• must have an understanding of Java development and methodologies,• must have detailed knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting J2EE web application server/containers, • must have experience & understanding of automated deployment process using ANT, EARs, WARs, and JARs,• must have experience troubleshooting JVM memory and performance problems,• must have experience on using JMX for proactive monitoring,• excellent attendance and punctuality record,• excellent communication and team skills,• demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision,• high degree of self-motivation, commitment, and integrity, and• must show enthusiasm, initiative, pride in work and a • commitment to Publix and our Mission. Preferred Qualifications:• experience working with web server technologies,• experience with Single Sign On (SSO) technologies,• experience with Oracle application server• experience with IBM MQ Series integration,• experience with internet facing applications,• experience with SSL certificate generation/maintenance,• experience with web services security,• experience with JMS queues,• experience with JTA,• experience with SNMP,• understanding of XML, • experience with RDBMS technologies including Oracle and SQL Server,• Java certification,• understanding of the ITIL and MOF frameworks along with the incident, problem, and change management processes,• experience with Vignette Application Portal is a plus, and • experience with Content Management systems, such as Interwoven TeamSite is a plusCompensation: - Pay Type: Salaried- Minimum Base Pay: $5,135.00- Maximum Base Pay: $9,170.00- Year End Bonus: Year-end bonus equal to one month's pay (pro-rated in the first year) if associate remains employed through Dec. 31.- Incentive Bonus: NA- Potential Annual Pay with Bonus: $66,755 - 119,210Benefits:?
