JUNIOR NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR
Are you a dynamic technical professional with strong hands-on experience and the ability to think analytically? Do you enjoy problem-solving and working with other technical professionals to improve technical processes? Our client, an internally renowned financial services firm, is looking for a junior-level Network Administrator with strong desktop support experience and who has a service-oriented background. This role will join a growing IT team who is looking to add technical and business talent to its group. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to get a foot in the door to the networking side of IT while also being hands on and service-oriented.
This position requires a strong desire to interact with and add value to users, learn and collaborate with team members. Responsibilities will include:
- Management of Active Directory in a 300+ end user environment.
- Responsible for daily support and maintenance of core network and server components.
- Daily network troubleshooting for users.
- Tier II desktop support/help desk required.
- Analysis and recommendations for server/network upgrades.
- Ensure data integrity.
- Responsible for hardware and software network/systems upgrades.
- Router, switch maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 1 yr of experience with WINDOWS administration.
- At least 4 yrs of experience in a professional technical role.
- Excellent communication skills.
- DNS and wireless experience.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Certification preferred.
