Responsibilities: Oversees activities related to material control, inventory control, shipping/receiving and store functions Recommends, implements and maintains policies, procedures and material control systems Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering May prepare material requirement plans using enterprise resource planning systems May assist with the establishment and maintenance of the production control system Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function Ensures security and accountability of inventory through control of inventory transactions in accordance with established processed and procedures Conducts cycle counts and supports periodic physical inventories and audits Analyzes and corrects cycle count discrepancies Transacts, in the inventory control system, inventory receipts, transfers, issues, status changes and shipments, in order to ensure that the perpetual inventory balance is at all times accurate Ensures inventory is protected from loss, misuse and physical damage Maintains all inventory in an orderly, uncluttered manner

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, operations management or equivalent 7+ years experience in an effective inventory and/or logistics environment 2+ years in a leadership role Excellent knowledge of inventory control processes & procedures Knowledge of inventory controlling applications Basic understanding of financial transactions & operations
