Job Description:

 

Manhattan-based Internet Café Solutions Company seeks talented support technician.  Field support technician will service and support networked, windows based computers.  Support includes but is not limited to troubleshooting network, DSL, Windows, and hardware issues, as well as installation of computer equipment in the field.

 

Qualifications:

 1-2 years experience as a service/support technician resolving equipment issues. Excellent technical troubleshooting/repair skills.Associate level degree or equivalent in networking and computer hardware/software repair.Knowledge of TCP/IPExtensive experience with Window XPRouter setup and configuration, both wired and wirelessUses good judgment and available information to resolve issues.Self motivated; must have ability to work with little supervision.Must be able to work in fast paced environmentMust communicate clearly, effectively and professionally. Familiarity with use of basic power toolsMust be over age 25 with a valid driver’s license.Must be in good physical condition; ability to move heavy computer equipment

 

 

Compensation:

 

$17 to $20 per hour based on experience, full health and dental insurance provided at no cost.  10 days paid vacation plus Federal Holidays.
