Job DescriptionPerform as a team member on an Active Directory Team. Perform duties as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for an Enterprise Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) solution. Operate and Maintain the Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) systems and architecture and other assigned systems. Provide after hours on-call support on a rotating basis. Coordinate between the various entities of NETCOM, ISEC, Army and DoD in support of assigned projects to get maximum results. Prepares detailed specifications and updates to the military and government leadership. Competent to work at the highest technical level of support for the Active Directory Team with system support analysis and monitoring. Perform common preventive system maintenance for hardware and software May be responsible for completion of a phase of a project. Perform common and complex administrative tasks as assigned. Must be focused on customer service and mission accomplishment. Utilize industry tools to monitor system health and performance of Active Directory systems and assets. Create documentation including standard operating procedures, system inventories, and configuration baselines. Ensure that system improvements and changes are implemented correctly and completely, and monitor all effects of the modifications.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesEducation and Certifications: Associate’s degree in a technology field or equivalent experience required. 4-7 years of experience in a computer or comparable field required. A+, Network+ and/or Security+ certifications preferred. ITIL Foundations or equivalent certification preferred. MCP, MCSA, or MCSE 2000/2003 preferred.Required Technical Skills: Extensive working knowledge of Windows 2003 Server, Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP), Active Directory, DNS, Group/Security policies in an enterprise network environment. Experience administering Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) and Microsoft Active Directory. Strong hardware and server troubleshooting skills. Understanding of networking across LANs as well as WANs. Must have solid documentation skills. Have excellent time management skills with proven ability to effectively coordinate multiple tasks.Preferred Technical Skills: Knowledge of Scripting. Change Management and DocumentationNon-Technical Skills: Must have excellent interpersonal relations. Must have excellent organization and supervisory skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with Senior Army Leaders and staff. Knowledge of Army regulations and policies. Capability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
