Intel Analyst

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Counter-terrorism Data Exploitation Analyst is responsible for the analysis and exploitation of bulk data sources. Analysts utilize technology and data exploitation techniques to augment the CT analysis process. Provide tactical and strategic analysis of CT data to develop and enrich effective solution strategies for the intelligence community.
Responsibilities include the ability to understand, question, interpret, and visualize data in ways that reveal relationships, trends, patterns, and potential gaps. Comprehensive knowledge of analyzing large amounts of data and presenting your findings in both written products and briefings/presentations. This individual will also be expected to determine the credibility, value, significance and relevancy of the information developed to produce analytical products. This includes analyzing and evaluating intelligence data products.
Qualifications (Key Skills/Experience):
This job requires advanced abilities in the use of MS Access, MS Excel, SQL Application Server, i2 Analytical Suite (Analyst Notebook and iBase), SQL for Oracle, and/or Visual Basic for applications. Applicants should have previous experience and expertise on bulk exploitation and analysis of vast data stores. This experience should demonstrate the successful development of automated processes and techniques in the area of bulk data exploitation.
Knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS products and extensions is also useful, including the ability to create GIS models.
