Integration Systems Analyst EDI Mapper - contract to hire

GCommerce is experiencing significant growth and currently looking for qualified candidates with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our dynamic company.  We are seeking candidates to assist in customer integration, document specification mapping and technical development.

 

Duties:

Working with the GCommerce Inc. Integration team you will:

·  Use Microsoft Biztalk, Visual Studio .NET, and Microsoft SQL tools to integrate trading partners into the GCommerce solution.

·  Follow SDLC practices to promote efficient trading partner integration.

·  Promote team environment among integration team members.

·  Reviewing EDI documents specifications and creating translation solutions using the afore mentioned technologies.

·  Troubleshooting EDI document errors and proposing/correcting EDI translation errors

·  Other duties as necessary

 

The potential candidate must have:

·  Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

·  Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·  Ability to work independently and multi task within a fast-paced environment.

·  Ability to provide excellent customer service while interacting with customers via the phone and e-mail.

·  2+ Years in application development or EDI analysis.

·  Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent knowledge/experience

 

Technical Requirements:

·  Experienced user of Microsoft Windows operating systems.

·  Reading and understanding published guidelines and companion guides for electronic data interchange transactions a plus but not required.

·  Thorough understanding of ASC X12 EDI Standards a plus but not required.

·  Knowledge of relational database management systems not necessary but a plus.

·  Knowledge of current development languages with emphasis on the Microsoft C# development platform not necessary but a plus.

·  Knowledge of XML and XML Schema development a plus.

·  Knowledge of Microsoft Biztalk or similar e-commerce integration software a plus.

·  Understanding of object-oriented design and programming techniques not necessary but a plus.
