BG HI is a $1Bn business within Philips HealthcareWithin the BG HI we have created a new team called Integrated Solutions that is tasked to;- Deliver on the PH brand promise of 'Care Simplified' by ensuring seamless integration of PH Informatics products with the hospital enterprise- Develop incremental business for PH through packaging of integrated solutions, linked to the enterprise environment, that meet the best of suite requirements of our customers- To grow a network of partners that create a platform for innovation and a source of enterprise data necessary for us to be successful in executing the 'Key Clinical Strategy'- To develop new innovative solutions that enable improved workflow, focused around the needs of care cycles, leading to improved outcomes and efficiency Your Responsibilities: As a key contributor within the HI Integrated Solutions Team, the Integrated Solutions Engineer is responsible for working with other members of the Integrated Solutions Team to develop integrated solutions based on both Philips and 3rd party applications. Responsibilities:* Work with the Integrated Solutions Architects as part of the Integrated Solutions Team to develop specific integrated solutions. This will include designing, implementing, and testing new integrated solutions. * Manage the Integrated Solutions Lab, including administration of hardware, software, and networking for the lab (including PH products and 3rd party components and applications).* Coordinate with BU resources to maintain up-to-date versions of the PH products in the lab, including product licenses and interface documentation. Perform installation and configuration and load updates/patches as required.* Coordinate with 3rd party vendor to maintain up-to-date versions of components used within the supported integrated solutions, including licenses and product documentation. Your Profile: Profile: * BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology. * 3-5 years experience developing and/or supporting Microsoft server based solutions, including hardware, software, and networking.* Experience with Windows Server OS (LINUX is a plus). * Experience with SQL and RDBMS, preferably MS SQL Server (Oracle is a plus).* Experience in or more of the following programming languages: C#, C++, Java, Java script, Perl.* Knowledge of XML and web services.* Experience with Healthcare applications, workflow, or standards (IHE, HL7, DICOM) is a plus.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Strong organizational and analytical skills.* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.* Flexible, adaptable, and able to handle complex issues in a self-directed fashion, with minimal supervision.* Strong desire to learn new skills and gain experience with new technology.* Seeking opportunity for growth and added responsibility in a dynamic environment within a growing organization.
