Instructional Designer - Leadership, Development and Training

The Training Associates has an immediate requirement for a skilled and experienced Instructional Designer for our well-known and well-respected client in eastern Pennsylvania who will work with our client's Board of Directors, Mission Implementation Team, volunteers and Strategic Partners to manage the design, development, implementation and evaluation of all in-house training programs. 

This role requires conducting assessments to identify training needs and working with SME's to enable the person in this position to design, adapt and/or develop curriculum that reflects the highest quality learning materials.  It also includes all associated functions to support the development and implementation of future training products or programs.

 Requirements and skills:



 

·  Highly skilled professional with 5 years training experience in the field of instructional leadership training design; including macro and micro curriculum design, and development of training materials.

· Managerial responsibilities that demonstrate the coordination of curriculum design and deliverables and oversight to individuals responsible for production and implementation.

·  Leadership experience in organizations, or demonstrated ability to achieve results through scheduled benchmarks.

 

Additional Skills: Understanding of Adult Learning Theory as it applies to training design, development and implementation.Collaborative leadership skills that foster confidence and cooperation with all internal and external colleagues and clients. Highly developed people and communication skills.

· Respect for and understanding of the Roman Catholic community, parish life and ministry

·  Computer competence with programs such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Reader and Writer, WebEx, GoToMeeting, e-Room, and Publisher.

·  Familiarity with and  understanding of the value and purpose of  “on line” resources and other “non-classroom” venues or virtual learning opportunities as a means to strengthen curriculum development and utilization.

·  Fluency in Spanish a plus.

 

Education:Masters Degree in Instructional Systems, Training Design and Development, Organizational Development, or Business related fields. 



Travel: Occasional - 20 to 25%
