Aptima, Inc. currently has a position open for an Information Systems Administrator.  Primary duties include, administration and support of Aptima’s servers and network infrastructure, as well as web development and support.  The position will also provide backup for PC technical support.

Minimum Requirements:

§  Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field and/or relevant certifications

§  Proficiency in administration of Linux, Windows XP/2003, and Networking.

§  Must have proficiency with a majority of the following:

§  DNS, DHCP, IMAP, POP, SMTP, RADIUS, PHP, MySQL, LDAP, Samba, Asterisk, Virtual Machines

§  Demonstrated experience with above.

§  U.S.citizenship

§  Must be able to obtain Secret security clearance

§  Web and/or software development experience.

Responsibilities include:

§  Setup/maintain Linux, Windows 2003 servers.

§  Web development in LAMP environment.

§  Provide backup for PC technical support.

§  Support wired and wireless infrastructure.

§  Support and maintain company web site, intranet, and project web sites.

Aptima will not compensate applicants for any travel or relocation expenses to fill this position. All applicants must be willing to work onsite in Aptima’s Boston (Woburn) office, Monday through Friday (no telecommuting or compressed schedules).
