Under guidance of tan IMSC Government Information Management Technical Officer and following the defined process for records recovery and preservation, the contractor will support the following functions Conduct basic inventories of inactive records collections stored in the NRO Records Center for application of the Records Control Schedule and to sort temporary and permanent records. Screen and dispose of non-record material and records exceeding their retention life. Preserve documents of permanent or historic value utilizing provided materials. Enter all metadata into the records retirement database (IMOA) and RRPT tracking DB according to guidelines and procedures defined by the government. Perform Quality Control measures to ensure the accurate assimilation of data Perform ad hoc records duties as directed by the COTREnsures the development, documentation, and presentation of information system security education, awareness, and training activities for facility management, information system personnel, users and others, as appropriate. Manages, and ensures the development and documentation required of the approval process for the accreditation of information systems processing national security information. Identifies and documents unique local threats/vulnerabilities to information system. Coordinates the information system security program with other information system security programs. Ensures that periodic self-inspections of the information system security program are conducted as part of the overall facility self-inspection program and that corrective action is taken for all identified findings and vulnerabilities. Ensures the development of information security related procedures to govern marking, handling, controlling, removing, transporting, sanitizing, reusing, and destroying media and equipment containing classified information. Reports information system security incidents to appropriate points of contact. Follows up to ensure that proper protection or corrective measures have been taken when an incident/vulnerability has been discovered. Implements vendors supplied authentication (password, account names) features or security relevant features. Implements security features for the detection of malicious code, viruses, and intruders (hackers), as appropriate. Develops and implements general and remote maintenance procedures based on requirements provided by the customer and/or government. Selects and hires employees. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Motivates and rewards employees including providing salary increases, bonuses and promotions within allocated budgets and company guidelines. Prepares and recommends operating and personnel budgets for approval. Monitors spending for adherence to budget, recommends variances as necessary. Prepares and presents information system security education, awareness and training for appropriately cleared management, information system personnel, users and others as appropriate. Basic Qualifications Must have current TS/SCI w/CI Poly Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelors degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred CISSP certification preferred Nine or more years of experience in computer science, management information systems, systems analysis or data security Experience working with information security practices, networks, software, and hardware Experience working with operating systems Experience working with security architecture Other Qualifications Strong analytical and problem solving skills for resolving security issues, may include national security information Strong organization skills to balance work and lead projects Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members Strong communication skills to interact with team members and support personnel Ability to work in a team environment Experience working with government accreditation process Remote Work Location Authorized:No Relocation Assistance:Not AvailableClearance Level:TS/SCI w/ CI Polygraph Create Success
