IT jobs: Native iPhone Developer
This person is going to be working on a mobile application that has been previously built on other mobile platforms (Android, WebOS, and Phone Gap). Therefore, all of the requirements are already developed and the backend work is already completed.
Our client is looking for someone to come in and write the application in native iPhone and iPad.
Strongly preferred
- Ability to write code tying UI controls to native (Objective-C) service delegates
- Ability to write native service delegates that interact with remote RESTful web services
- Good understanding of iOS event model
- Knowledge of all Xcode built-in UI widgets and ability to customize them
- Very good grasp of UI composition and containment models
- Programmatic UI design
These skills would be helpful (plus)
- Knowledge of third party UI widgets
- Ability to skin UI widgets
- Strong mobile UI portfolio
