IT USA jobs: Sr. Business Intelligence Lead - Data Warehouse Architect

Sr. BI Lead/Functional Architect responsible for overall functional architecture and BI deliverables and provides leadership, guidance and direction to the team.
- Coordinates with Product/SME on the scope and requirements
- Set or enforce standards and overall architecture for data warehouse systems.
- Establishing the Program Business Intelligence Strategy and selection of strategic (standard) warehousing tools and techniques.
- Educate the project team(s) on the standards and architecture of each component of the BI/DW Architecture.
- Ensure proper selection of appropriate project software, tools and development techniques for the different components of the BI/DW architecture.

1. Strong background in provider billing and Healthcare Claims, Third Party processing area.
2. 10+ years overall experience with last 3 years (or couple of projects) technical project management experience managing 5+ people team size.
3. Strong Data Modeling skills and exposure to industry standard data models in Healthcare Vertical.
4. Ability to work with the teams that includes mix of client and CGI employees.
5. Ability to direct and monitor all activities for large, major technology-based projects from initiation to delivery.
6. Demonstrated leadership to estimate and establish and maintain project schedule, provide status reporting, and escalate issues as needed to achieve project success.
7. Ability to participate in code reviews and provide feedback.
8. Individual must be a motivated self starter, pro-active, and comfortable/knowledgeable with ETL, BI data integration efforts.
9. Knowledge in one more ETL tools and reporting tools is required.
*Preferred: Informatica knowledge; OBIEE knowledge

Required Skills:
- Healthcare provider billing, claims or payer experience
- HIPAA X12 Standards
- At least 8 years experience as the Sr. BI Lead / Functional architect
- Extensive experience with BI/DW development methodologies
- Extensive experience working with various ETL and BI tools.(Informatica and OBIEE required)
- Extensive experience with relational databases (Oracle Required)
- Experience in managing and coordinating teams of 10+ size
- Experience in developing best practices, Standards and enforcing guidelines.
- Train and coach team members

Desired Skills:
- Exposure to Microsoft BI technologies
- SQL Server, .NET, SSIS
- Exposure to SOA Architecture
- Sizing of BI Platforms
- Creates solutions to business problems through the use of technology.
- Understands the products and services offered in a specific technical area.
- Ensures technical integration of applications Understands business issues and objectives and uses this knowledge to guide option specification, analysis, recommendations, and solution design.

- Functions effectively as a senior contributor in structuring and developing complex technical or business analyses.
- May manage small teams.
- Collaborates in a team setting, leading and facilitating discussion.
- Produces quality deliverables on time within defined technical or functional areas.
- Able to communicate effectively with team members and clients on substantive project matters.
- Assists senior consultants and team leads in management tasks.
- Takes direction on business goals and objectives and responds effectively in development and communication of work product.
- Able to present work products, conclusions, and recommendations in small group settings.
