IT/Telecom Manager - Strategic Sourcing
Job Description:
Our client, a Fortune 1000 company, is looking for an IT sourcing manager for their Long Island headquarters. The ideal candidate will have between 3 and 5 years of experience working with hardware, software, telecom, outsourcing and consulting contracts.
Major Responsibilities:
Manage relationships for IT/telecom vendorsNegotiate contracts with new and existing IT suppliersCollaborate to identify and utilize performance metrics to evaluate existing suppliersAssist in refining company-wide policies and procedures relating to IT sourcingPerforming IT industry analysis and general business/market analysis Identifying, reviewing and approving new suppliers
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in IT/telecom sourcing, specificallyStrong contract negotiation skills, specifically SOW and NDAVendor management experienceAnalytical skills relating to spend analysis, performance management, supplier management, evaluating RFP and RFI responses, invoicingProject management skillsCustomer service orientedProficiency using MS Office is required; MS Project and Visio a plus
