IT Systems Engineer
IT SYSTEMS ENGINEER
HALL RENDER KILLIAN HEATH & LYMAN, an Indianapolis healthcare law firm, has an immediate, full-time job opportunity in its IT Department for a Systems Engineer. This position will report directly to the Senior Systems Engineer. SUMMARY: Designing and implementing improvements to various back and front office systems, creating custom reports and programs, analyzing problems and forming solutions, performing system upgrades and achieving system reliability and performance targets. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Design, documentation, implementation, monitoring and support of Windows 2003 network configurations; * Support Active Directory and Group Policies within a Windows 2003 networking environment; * Design, troubleshoot, administer, and support the firm's Exchange 2003 systems; * VMWare implementation, design, testing and support; * Act as a lead voice/data engineer on multiple projects across all phases including architecture reviews, analysis, planning, design, testing, production rollout and ongoing support; * Participate in disaster recovery planning/design and implementation of contemporary replication technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS: * 2-5 years experience as an IT professional required with BS in sciences preferred; * Demonstrated experience in implementation, administration and support of Microsoft Windows 2003 Server and Active Directory; * Demonstrated experience with LAN/WAN technologies in a Windows 2003 environment; * Demonstrated experience with Exchange 2003; * Experience with IBM storage systems or other large-scale SANs; * Experience implementing, configuring and maintaining Cisco routers and switches; * MCSE, CCNP, CCNA, CCDA, CCSP or CCVP, experience with firewalls, VPN and MPLS configurations a plus.
