IT Sales Representative

Description: Excellent opportunity to join a sales team with a fast growing technology company.  This is an experienced sales rep position with a strong desire for a candidate with experience in the IT industry.  Agressive self starter with excellent prospecting, relationship building and closing skills.Ability to work individually in a team environment.Detail and results oriented sales professional.Must excel at relationship management and extensive follow up with prospects and clients.Candidate must be able to develop prospect's understanding of our value and our ability to help them meet their objectives. This is a performance-based sales position responsible for generating leads, managing an opportunity pipeline and closing sales.

Duties and Responsibilities:  Market to local companies through cold calling, client meetings and networking.  Able to deliver exceptional customer service, prospect for new business and expand existing business. Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue achievement. Develop and maintain thorough industry, market and product knowledge as well as develop and maintain relationships at multiple levels within prospect organizations with CEO's, CIO's, managers and staff.

Required skills/experience:  Bachelor's degree  4+ years sales experience, preferably IT sales experience  Strong problem solving skills and service orientation  Excellent communication, presentation, time management and organizational skills  Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience  Ability to conduct live and remote presentations and product demonstrations  Some travel required
