IT PROJECT MGR - ST5106

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing both short and long-term telecommunications, WAN, and enterpise application initiatives from inception to completion. Ability to work from a high to low level of detail is required. Managing multiple project and tasks at one time, and excellent customer relationship management skills is vital. Must understand and apply IT project management principles and tools. Essential Duties & Functions: 1) Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates and budgets, resource plans, and status reports. Manages the project and assigned resources throughout the project life-cycle and is responsible for driving each project to success, ensuring delivery on-schedule, and to scope. This includes tracking and reporting resource, schedule, and budget variances from plan. 2) Attends and/or organizes project meetings, documents discussion and action items. Ensures all project documentation is complete, accurate, and current. Responsible for all project communication. 3) Confer with management and staff to define business problems and/or opportunities and identify alternative technology approaches 4) Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess: Minimum of three or more years of IT telecommunications, WAN, and enterprise application technical project coordination/management experience in corporate environment. Project experience should include deployments of VOIP, CTI, Call Recording, IVR and Business Recovery Plans. Strong facilitation, organizational, analytical, and communication skills are essential. Proficiency in MS Project and other Microsoft office products is a given. Experience managing multiple highly visible projects concurrently, the ability to build and foster a team environment which is conducive to interaction among team members is also required. A bachelor?s degree or equivalent work experience in a telecommunications environment is required. PMP certification is a plus. Prior work experience and knowledge of managed mental healthcare would be desirable. Candidates must be customer-focused and have demonstrated strong teamwork, communication, problem solving, and organizational/planning skills. The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is also essential.
