Duties and Responsibilities: The Infrastructure Consultant - Server Operations is responsible for design, implementation and system administration for We Energies enterprise server and environments. Responsibilities Include: Level 3 operational support of enterprise server environments ensuring reliability, availability and performance for our customers. Participate in a shared 24x7 on-call rotation. Project participation including management and technical support for both IT and customer driven initiatives.

 



Education and Experience Requirements: Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related discipline. The successful candidate will have effective written & oral communication skills, ability to work independently as well as a member of team and possess the ability to manage multiple tasks, time and resources.

Desirable Skills:

- Windows Server Administration

- Sun Solaris Server Administration

- VMWare

- Linux (Red Hat, SUSE)

- Veritas Storage Foundation Administration

- Veritas Cluster Server Administration
