IT Help Desk/Customer Service Associate Section 3Essential Functions and Skills Hardware support including upgrades, configuration, installation, maintenance and repair on the following devices: Desktop PC's, Laptops, Printers, Scanners, Monitors Software support including configuration and installation: ZENworks 6.5, Symantec Ghost, OS support for Win98, NT4, Windows 2000/XP, Desktop application support such as Microsoft Office Suit, Microsoft Outlook, and GroupWise, Installation of software patches and updates, Anti-virus Additional responsibilities: Provide weekly project plans and status reports, Provide clear and consistent communication to the customer, Provide basic training for end-users on desktop functions, applications, and printers etc., Troubleshoot LAN connectivity issues by isolating at the hardware, operating system, and software application levelsQualifications/Education/LicensesPossess Bachelorâ€™s degree, appropriate technical certifications (A+, MCSE, etc.) or equivalent in experience.
