IT Director

The Buckner Company is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Director of Information Technology. The qualified candidate will be responsible for the general management of IT department, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.

Responsibilities include:

· complete maintenance of network security

· proactively identifying solutions to ongoing changes as company IT needs develop

· implementing additions and major modifications to the IT infrastructure of the company

· maintenance of all hardware and software functionality in multiple company locations

· overseeing the management and activities of the help desk staff and helping to resolve escalated or complex issues among the team as necessary

· facilitating the correction of any system failures acting as the primary contact for computer and network problems

 

 

Comprehensive Knowledge of:

 

· Windows Servers with active directory (4 years experience)

· Microsoft Exchange (2003)

· SQL Database

· HP Servers and SAN

· VERITAS Backup Exec

· Desktop Support

· WAN with routing switching

· Telephone experience with PBX

· Experience with paperless product is not required but is preferred

· Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues under pressure
