IT Communication & Documentation Specialist (P817)
The California State University, Northridge (CSUN) department of Finance and Administrative Services, seeks an exceptional individual to develop internal and external communication strategies to include design, maintenance, and management of the Information Technology (IT) website.
This exceptional opportunity allows the successful candidate to utilize proven strategies to ensure effectiveness for IT communication to the campus community regarding alerts, outages, and other key updates using standard language templates.
In addition, the Communication and Documentation Specialist will possess experience in Dreamweaver software and programming tools to ensure assignment of custom URL’s for individuals and campus organizations are timely and accurate, and, ensure appropriate documentation for key areas are in place, to include emergency preparedness, disaster recovery, and administrative and technical processes.
Qualifications: Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in a job related field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis up to two years. Equivalent to three years of full-time, progressively responsible computing experience that includes user support services. Experience in web presentation is desired.
