IT COMPLIANCE ANALYST

We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst for CRIS Controls and Risk Mitigating Services group. This position requires the ability to provide comprehensive compliance expertise, project management and audit experience. The individual will develop and maintain a sufficient understanding of local and federal auditing regulations, including SAS 70 with emphasis on IT policies and procedures (ISO, CobiT, ITIL etc.). The individual will partner with appropriate IT groups to develop, document and implement internal IT controls and will also assist internal assessments and periodic external audit reviews.Key responsibilities include:*Applying systems analysis principles to provide accurate reviews, analyses, recommendations, and reporting of risks and factors associated with support, implementation and operation of various IT compliance projects*Assisting in evaluating current and future IT tools and procedures for compliance and monitoring capabilities *Maintaining document repository for IT regulatory documents (e.g., SAS70 control assessments, issues logs, audit exceptions log), ensuring that documentation is maintained and updated to reflect regulatory changes*Keeping current with IT general controls, systems development methodologies, change management, computer operations and IT security*Maintain and understand general auditing practices relevant to SAS70 and/or SOX IT Control requirementsHiring Criteria Required Skills:*Proficiency in Project management methodologies *Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle*Demonstrated knowledge and experience in gathering and documenting business and technical documentation*Effective problem-solving analysis and decision making skills. *Strong communication and interpersonal skills*College degree or equivalent work experience.Preferred Skills:*Previous experience at writing and implementing IT general controls and policies relevant to SAS-70 and/or SOX regulations
