IT Analyst II - Lyondell
Responsible for applying and adhering to established support, maintenance and enhancement/project work processes to sustain the delivery of Information Technology services to global client groups. This includes identifying and employing best practices and other methodologies to improve work process performance and results. Consults with clients and other analysts to understand client goals and objectives, and completes activities to fulfill client requirements. Solicits analytical and technical advice from other functional areas within Information Technology, and provides technical analysis in return. The purpose of this activity is to optimize the value realization from and to enhance the utilization of Information Technology assets by the Enterprise. Responsible for conducting all activities in compliance with Enterprise and Information Technology policies, guidelines, procedures, work processes, and internal controls, and in alignment with Enterprise and Information Technology missions, goals, and strategies. Provides guidance to less experienced individuals and facilitates clients on compliance issues. The purpose of this activity is to ensure Enterprise and Information Technology consistency, reliability, and integrity of performance, and to preserve the highest level of stakeholder confidence Perform administration in 3 SAP and BW systems for approximately 10,000 users. Monitor progress in work queues to ensure that all open items are being resolved in a timely fashion. Work with Business role owners to identify security requirements. Work with SAP Security Technologist to document User Administration Procedures and perform testing as new SAP systems are added to the environment.This is an intermediate level position requiring either a degreed professional who possesses a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Business with a minimum of four (4) years relevant experience, or a non-degreed professional with seven (7) to ten (10) years relevant experience. This individual must demonstrate mastery of technical knowledge and skills within one of the following disciplines: Desktop/Laptop Computing Support, Security Administration, or Project Management. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
Minimum 4 years prior relevant experience with a bachelor degree. Minimum 7 years relevant experience without a bachelor degree. MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL LEVEL
Minimum High School diploma; BS/BA degree preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without visa sponsorship (U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident).
