We are seeking an HR business partner who will be responsible for supporting a client group and the business strategy by partnering, influencing and consulting on people related matters that affect the business. The HR Consultant will leverage and partner with other internal functional experts (compensation, benefits, recruiting, etc) as needed to support the account and identify and facilitate training and development for appropriate staff as needed. Additionally, the HR Consultant will be well versed in workforce management and distribution by understanding the talent needs of the business and helping to ensure the right person is in the right role at the right time. As an HR Consultant, you will be the main point of contact responsible for resolving all types of situations, quickly responding to any type of member/manager complaint or need, responding to the questions/concerns of your client, and providing responses to issues/concerns from your manager and/or the HR Director and providing follow through along the way. Additional responsibilities include other HR related activities such as: performance management, staff development, compensation and salary reviews, reward & recognition, and the promotion pipeline. Essential Skills:5 - 7 years experience in HR as a strategic business partnerBachelor's Degree required preferably in HR or related fieldHR Generalist background requiredExperience working within an IT Consulting environment preferredIn-depth understanding of Employment Law Excellent oral and written communications skillsTeam playerAbility to demonstrate excellent common sense, judgment and sense of issue urgencyAbility to interact effectively with all levels of managementAbility to analyze and make quick, sound decisions & recommendationsBroad experience in managing employee issues, managing poor performance, managing conflict, delegating work, and assessing riskSolid understanding of compensation, salary administration and performance management processes Founded in 1976, CGI Group Inc. is one of the largest independent information technology and business process services firms in the world.
