Responsibilities/Duties

Supporting servers for a hosted AMI system implementation in a mission critical 7x24 availability environment.  Coordinating VPN (remote access implementation), system monitoring and problem response through a server hosting partner.  Working with customers on server backup and restore strategies, ad-dressing operating system configurations issues.  Working with customers on communications issues (CDMA, GPRS, etc.)  Reporting on system availability and performance metrics on a daily basis.

QualificationsComputer Science or Associates degree in Computer Technology desired but alternate degree or experience will be considered A minimum of 7 years experience within a 3rd party customer support analyst role, preferably within the metering or utility industry Excellent communication skills External customer support, preferably with multiple customers simultaneously Ability to troubleshoot systems and communication problems (preferably with a 'noncommercial' or proprietary software)
