Summary Position is for centralized Level 1 / Level 2 Help Desk support of Team computer, network, and IT application users enterprise-wide.  Primary Responsibilities• Primary responsibilities include telephone and email support to users in the recording, analysis, and resolution of IT trouble, service, and support needs. • Intermediate to advanced end-user system experience is required and good customer service experience and etiquette is essential.  • Technical experience with user desktop and laptop computers as well as wide-area-network and local-area-networks is a plus. Secondary responsibilities • Incident metrics analysis of tickets to determine indicative and correlating data that will determine root causes of troubles and trends in user service and support needs.  • Key systems used by Team that are expected to be supported by this position are intermediate use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), JDE World (Cume 15), Microsoft email (Outlook), general domain administration, and use of select Altiris incident and asset management modules.  • Other responsibilities include general administration and hardcopy material filing and retrieving upon request. Job Requirements: Job Skills: Candidate must demonstrate the following abilities and skill sets• Intermediate to advanced usage skills of Microsoft Office products• Touch type, 35 WPM or more • Understanding and usage of Microsoft Enterprise products (Outlook, AD)• Intermediate to advanced trouble analysis and resolution skills of end-user systems• Customer Service mindset• Excellent verbal and written skills This job description is intended to indicate the kinds of tasks and levels of work difficulty required of the position given this title and shall not be construed as declaring what the specific duties and responsibilities of any particular position shall be.
