This position is located at our Corporate Office in Arlington, TX.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Flexibility to work all shifts - 24 hours - High School Diploma or GED - Help Desk Support Specialist certification is required within 1 year of hire. - Other application specific certifications may be required and can be substituted for 1 year of experience.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's Degree is preferred - 2+ years customer service and 2+ years of technical support experience is preferable. - Call center experience with problem resolution documentation experience is preferred. - EPIC Hyperspace support experience is preferable.DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES - Excellent verbal and written communication skills required to provide technical information to customers with a wide range of technical skills and backgrounds to interact with challenging clients successfully. - Ability to learn effectively and retain information. - Strong analytical capabilities required to identify and resolve technical and usage problems. - Effective organizational and time management skills required to manage multiple tasks and priorities. - Exceptional customer service skills required to facilitate problem solving and problem resolution. - Ability to apply basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products, networking and end-user computer hardware, including personal computers and printers required. - Ability to work independently and as a part of a team oriented, high-demand, and fast-paced environment. - Applicants should have the ability to provide technical assistance by phone on the following software: Microsoft Windows 95, 2K and XP. - Ability to type 40 wpm - Applicants should also be able to support Microsoft Office Suite versions 97, XP, and 2003 with Outlook. - PC, Printer, and Network troubleshooting along with critical thinking skills are requiredThere are many factors you might consider in choosing where to work.
