HTML/CSS Web Interface Developer

Austin Direct HireRESPONSIBILITIES: Develop HTML/CSS templates from user interface sketches, high-res comps Hand-code standards-compliant and cross-browser-compatible HTML and CSS Follow style guidelines and conventions Implement Javascript and AJAX as required Test & resolve issues across multiple browsers and platforms QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Expert-level HTML and CSS skills and Javascript Experience integrating front-end templates with back-end functionality, including AJAX techniques Knowledge of Web Standards and semantic markup. Ability to hand code HTML, CSS and Javascript in the text-editor of your choice Ability to slice & optimize web graphics in Adobe Photoshop or Fireworks Knowledge of cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility issues Excellent time management and communications skills Ability to work as part of a team or individually with minimal supervision Working knowledge of PHP Experience working on E-Commerce websites Experience implementing search engine optimization techniques Experience with a Javascript framework such as JQuery, Prototype, Dojo, Scriptaculous, etc Please send resumes and questions to glen.hutchins@modis.com .
