American Esoteric Laboratories, a division os Sonic Healthcare, has an immediate opportunity for an HL7 Interface Project Manager. Responsibilities include…….

 

Coordinating EMR interface activities with all interface projects. Includes scheduling of conference calls between EMR Vendors & AEL Physician clients, obtaining interfacing quotes from emr vendors and handling the administrative approvals of all interface projects, coordinating configuration-setup of interface connectivity with perimeter vendor (TCPIP, SFTP, etc…), setup of interface configurations on interface engine, provide second tier diagnostic support for problem orders
esults interfaces. Occassional responsibility to assist HL7 interface analyst with interface validation testing and the evaluation roubleshooting of HL7 interface messaging. Requires ability to maintain & schedule many interfaces and report to Sales & Management routine updatesstatuses & issues to be escalated.

 

Bachelor’s degree in a health related or IT discipline with a minimum of 2 years previous Healthcare experience required. Med-tech or IT experience preferred.

Understanding of TCPIP & Secure FTP communications ( and some HL7 messaging exposure) preferred. Detail oriented & Customer Service skills a plus.
