Description Title: Graphic Design Specialist Location:  Ewing, NJ  People within the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) organization are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients.  Typically, people in BPO are based permanently at a client location.  BPO helps clients develop and deliver business process innovations with cutting-edge outsourcing services.  These services transform enterprises and deliver high performance at lower costs.  We offer a full array of business process outsourcing services founded on operational excellence and cost effectiveness. Our BPO resources can expect to: â€¢ Incorporate skills which support the Custom BPO Client • Receive ongoing training to build and extend professional, technical and management skills in all areas• Enjoy our comprehensive and generous benefits package   Job Description: Responsible for all mastery of electronic and print publishing technology to create a wide range of products and publications.  Perform documentation in page layout design, typography, creating long documents, editing print graphics, PDF workflows, preflight, and file troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities may include:   â€¢ Perform professional documentations in page layout design, typography, creating long documents, editing print graphics, PDF workflows, preflight, and file troubleshooting. Create documents in 1-4 color printed publications, scanning techniques, and electronic file formats.• Perform various tasks using InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, QuarkXpress, and Acrobat in the preparation of print and technical artwork for all products.• Perform copyediting functions on your own work.  Demonstrate complete proficiency in following complex typographic terms and editorial/ proofreader's marks.  Ensure format consistency and check overall correctness of material when product is complete.• Use automated software functions such as spell check. Follow industry standard topography and page layout procedures. Produce error free materials.• Demonstrate proficiency in project management through the ability to assess individual publishing jobs and workload. • Perform job functions under pressure of extremely tight schedules, meeting deadlines efficiently and effectively. • Independently interpret project requests and the author's objectives. At times, lead project teams and direct the work of both technical and non-technical staff.• Maintain a very high level of accuracy, consistency, efficiency, confidentiality, and proficiency.• Provide for the secure handing of confidential materials as they are being processed.  Investigate and recommend new products and services to programs, using knowledge of technology and software to repackage materials to be delivered in different media.• Develop, implement and maintain jobs using BarCode Pro, MathType, and Mecca software. Perform scannable document design, mainframe applications, mailing standards, and electronic file management.• Apply project management skills, including detailed assessment of assigned projects. • Performing organizational and problem-solving all communication pertaining to a jobs or project to meet customer expectations and supply chain requirements. • Perform other duties as required. Job Requirements: â€¢ Overtime may be necessary during peak process Qualifications Basic Qualifications: â€¢ An associate's degree or certificate in desktop publishing, Computer Graphics, Graphic Arts• Minimum of 3 year experience in the use of desktop publishing technology  • Minimum of 3 year experience w/ 1-4 color printed publications, in the printing industry and print management processes   Professional Skill Requirements:  â€¢ Knowledge of electronic typesetting and/or experience in commercial reproduction graphics is highly desirable.• Ability to plan, manage, and analyze operational processes and requirements and to apply new technology to advantage.• Ability to adapt to changing priorities without adversely affecting productivity while performing a variety of tasks.• Good written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to prioritize jobs to ensure that all departmental deadlines are met to ensure service levels are achieved.• Strong attention to detail.• Ability to work well in high pressure situations and manage and meet all deadlines.• Ability to manage many tasks at one time.• Strong organizational skills.• Ability to troubleshoot situations as needed.• Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills suitable for dealings with all levels of management.• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within particular guidelines.• Electronic and print publishing knowledge on PC platform a plus. To submit resumes online Click Here Candidates who are currently employed by a client of Accenture or an affiliated Accenture business may not be eligible for consideration.
