Ultimately, this position is located on Andros Island, Bahamas. Responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance primarily on Club Car golf carts in support of AUTEC operations. Essential Job Functions Perform preventive and corrective procedures on various electric golf carts IAW OPNAVINST 5100.12, OPNAVINST 5100.25 and AUTEC Project Procedures. Diagnose component and system failures in mechanical and electrical systems. Identify required repair parts and submit procurement requests. Record and document maintenance activities as required. Perform check-out / check-in duties for Range User golf cart assignments. Maintain record keeping system for the management of Range User golf cart assignments. Perform various tire repair and replacement. Assist other shop personnel as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. 5 years related experience in golf cart maintenance and repair. Valid driver's license and passport will be required.Must meet eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain the required government security clearance. Other Qualifications Must be versatile and willing to work in a diverse and flexible environment. Must have excellent mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills. Ability to understand and follow manufacturer's technical publications, schematics and parts manuals. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in all kinds of weather, including extreme heat. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to reside in remote location with limited medical facilities.
